About the Natura range

Exactly what do you mean by describing Natura products as natural?
Natura uses only natural renewable raw materials such as natural oils (avocado, jojoba, macadamia nut oil), plant extracts (shea butter) and essential oil (lavender, rosemary..)


Exactly what do you mean by describing Natura products as Organic?
All natural oils (avocado, jojoba, macadamia nut oil), plant extracts (shea butter) and essential oil (lavender, rosemary..) are organic.


Exactly what does Natura products really mean?
It means the use of chemical products is forbidden. Any mineral oil (paraffin, glycerine,) petrochemical or chemical based emulsifier, preservative (EDTA, PEG, all Paraben) are banned.


Exactly what do you mean by describing Natura products as plant-based?
The product is not plant based. The emulsifier is plant based. When you mix together olive oil and water, it doesn’t disperse. To achieve a crème, you need to put some emulsifiers. Plants based are preferred to chemical ones.

What is so bad about regular body care products?
As usual money is the big issue. It is 10 time less expensive to produce a conventional body care product. Some products are bad for our health (paraben) other are being made using war fair gas (Sodium laureth Sulfate) and are not environment friendly.
An alternative to chemical one have been on the market for years. It gives the same result.

Do you manufacture the products yourself?
No. however, we have design all the formulation and we have requested the best raw materials and essential oils.

Where are the products made?
The products are made in France by a laboratory who has been doing organic cosmetic for the last 15 years. We really like its ethos and we know that each batch of natura organics is made in a chemical free environment. Indeed, the insulation is made of hemp, the building has been painting inside out with natural paints and 40% of the electricity used come from solar panels.

What is the full range of products that you are launching today?
Today, we are launching the body care only, with the shampoos and conditioner, shower gel, body lotion

Do you have any plans to expand the range?
Yes. With a view for a baby range and men’s range.

How old is Natura / Where is the company based?
natura is a brand new name. However, it is the result of more than 10 years of work in the organic industry. Hence the revolutionary raw material used in the cream and mask.
The company is based in Barcelona, Spain.

What is Natura’s business model?
The model would be mainly pharmacies-specialists shops for the reputation of the name and body shop for the growth of the business, 20 years ago, the animal rights were a major concern. Nowdays, the small manufacturers of natural and organic cosmetic cannot afford the cost of test on animals. Out of the cost issue is an ethical point which made them banned that years ago. The next battle ahead is regarding the 50 plus toxic chemical present in our body which were not 50 years ago. They all come from conventional skin care and cosmetic.

We have all together with our manufacturer 40 years of experience in the natural alternative skincare market. Our product is one of the purest on the market and the design, you will agree is superb.
