The used ingredients

All the cosmetics of base such on principles: water (or “watery phase”), oil (or “oleosa phase”), tensioactivos that maintain them united (also called emulsionantes), active agents (for example, hidratantes agents or solar antiwrinkles, filters, vitamins…), additives (as the antirust conservantes and) and perfume.
There are cosmetics, like the gels, that lack greasy elements; others, like certain balsams, for example, do not have watery phase.
Some of these ingredients are also used by cosmetic the traditional one, although, as a rule, in smaller amount, without no guarantee of their quality ( biological culture? , possible way of transformation).
Watery phase
Water of osmotized spring or (leaked so that any remainder is eliminated)
Floral water
Aloe side
Gelificantes: rubber to guar, flour of carob bean seeds, to agar-agar (extracted of brown seaweed), xantano.
Phase grassa
Vegetal oils, among them:
Oil of avocado
Oil of almonds (very smooth, specially indicated for the babies)
Olive oil
Oil of wheat germ
Produced by alive organisms (seeds and fruits), these oils act in the base of the metabolism and stimulate the capacity of natural regeneration of the skin.
Natural waxes (vegetal or animals): wax of bee, lanolina, oil of jojoba, butter of karité…
Greasy alcohol and fatty acids that leave smooth and aterciopelada the skin: for example, cetílico alcohol, estearílico alcohol, acid láurico, esteárico acid and acid palmítico.
In spite of its strange names, they are present in the nature under the form of fats and oils, and constitute excellent ingredients for cosmetics.

Emulsionantes or tensioactivos:
They allow that the water and the fats are mixed to form an emulsion.
In cleaning products (champúes, shower gels) they play a role like cleaning agents: they dissolve the fat of the surface of the skin. Those are these products that cause the foam formation.
The emulsionantes of natural origin, or transformed by simple procedures like the esterificación, are considered ecological and acceptable for the biological cosmetic elaboration. In this case, its percentage cannot be considered to calculate the percentage of contained biological ingredients in the product.
Often, they are obtained from the sugar, the oil of nut of the Coco or the sugar beet: for example, cocamidopropilbetaína, cocobetaína, the cocoglucósid one…

Active agents
In order to hydrate: urea, seaweed, aloe side, amino acids, glycerin.
In order to stimulate and to protect the skin: vitamins (among them, the vitamin and, excellent an antirust one, that is to say, an agent which it protects the skin of the negative effects of the light), certain vegetal extracts (romero, ginkgo, green tea). These are the famous free antiradicals so looked for!
In order to strengthen and to tighten epidermis: vegetal proteins (of wheat, rice), extracts of seaweed.
In order to calm the skin (antireddening): azuleno, manzanilla, sweet almonds, ivy (by its vasoconstrictor effect, that is to say, that the diameter of the blood vessels diminishes and, therefore, the reddening).
In order to regulate the fat production: clay, dances the jaleo real.
As solar filter: of mineral origin, titanium dioxide .
Without a doubt it has surprised to find many ingredients to him that are used like advertising reclamations in the cosmetic scope of the traditional one. Unless cosmetic the traditional one does not guarantee the purity of the used raw materials (the minimum of remainders of pesticidas or dissolvents, these last ones used during the processes of transformation of the raw material).

Diverse additives
Conservants: certain vegetal oils are conserved very or, as in the case of the oil of jojoba or avocado.
The vegetal alcohol and some essential oils act like natural conservantes.
Vitamin E (whose name INCI is tocoferol) it prevents that oxygen degrades cosmetic products.
Colorants: cosmetic the natural one does not use any chemical colorante; the color of products varies sometimes, by the way, in function of the used raw materials.
Perfumes: Any synthetic perfume is not used. The aroma is obtained from the essential oils, that also they have desired effect thanks to his impact on the sense of the sense of smell (for example, ilang-ilang, the mint, the lemon), or from other natural substances, as vanilla.
